Usually, I like to write a blog about traveling and architecture across the world. But I could not leave the subject go about the Coronavirus, because of the effects and the importance of the world.
Why would you read this article ?
It has interesting articles collected in chronology from different open sources for a broad in-depth view to get your vision.
The possible origins of 2019-nCoV coronavirus
In the early beginning of 26 January, I was in Aruba and studying the news and the development and the reproduction rate of this virus in China. It was growing so fast and vigorously that it had my attention. After a month, it came into Europe spreading via Italie, and then I knew this is not the regular flu and that there is more going on.
The 2019-nCoV has caused a pandemic and more than thousands of laboratory-confirmed infections in humans and thousands of deaths worldwide, some places more than 900 deaths a day.
Two descriptions of the virus published in Nature indicated that the genome sequences from patients were almost identical to the Bat CoV ZC45 coronavirus, and this had my attention. It is critical to study where the pathogen came from and how it passed onto a human.
An article published on The Lancet reported that 27 of 41 infected patients were found to have contact with the Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan.
People noticed two laboratories researching the bat coronavirus in Wuhan, one of which was only 280 meters from the seafood market. Some people briefly examined the histories of the laboratories and proposed that the Coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory.
Some proposals provided an alternative origin of the Coronavirus in addition to natural recombination and the intermediate host.
And then, I started collecting the Open Source Information and the articles, which in my view, was interesting to read and also the scientific articles.
Governments explained to was your hands and if your sick stay home. But people infected with the novel Coronavirus shed large quantities of the virus early in their illness and likely become less infectious as the disease wears on, according to different studies. That means people who were contagious without symptoms, could be spreading the virus; governments were not proactive and underestimated the effects of this virus, and people working in the field were not adequately equipped.
That means that even when people not had symptoms and was infected with the virus, the virus starts multiplying itself in the body, and the person becomes highly contagious. This is the reason why this virus spreads so fast and so disastrous.
There are still many viruses unknown that hide deep in the forest of the Amazone, waiting for there the first encounter with a human. Most of them only will cause a little flue, but some can be more vicious. For that reason, we have to respect Nature, everyday forests are being cut down, and people are disturbing Nature. The loss of an ecological forest will have consequences, and it will have a loss in the diversity of life there, the outbreak of new viruses can affect the world.
For that reason, we have to respect Nature. Tropical deforestation is not just a problem in Amazonia; we are all connected. The smallest life form -a virus- give us the proof that we all are connected.
Every day there is research done, and new information comes available. I will try to collect scientific articles and archive them on Archive.today because I saw that some sources were changing what they posted before, and I could not find it back anymore. So I put them in a chronological oversight for the one who is interested in reading it.
And of course, if you have an interesting article for me, please send it forward, and you can follow me on social media or keep updated via the newsletter.

Abstract
Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) emerged in 2002 to 2003 in southern China. The origin of its etiological agent, the SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV), remains elusive. Here we report that species of bats are a natural host of coronaviruses closely related to those responsible for the SARS outbreak. These viruses, termed SARS-like coronaviruses (SL-CoVs), display greater genetic variation than SARS-CoV isolated from humans or from civets. The human and civet isolates of SARS-CoV nestle phylogenetically within the spectrum of SL-CoVs, indicating that the virus responsible for the SARS outbreak was a member of this coronavirus group.

interestingly enough, the Wuhan Institute of Virology was directly involved in its engineering.
“The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin-converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.”
Scientists largely agree it came from animals. But that is not the same as saying it didn’t come from the lab;
11-12-2015 Engineered bat virus stirs debate over risky research
(…) An experiment that created a hybrid version of a bat coronavirus — one related to the virus that causes SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) — has triggered a renewed debate over whether engineering lab variants of viruses with possible pandemic potential is worth the risks.
In an article published in Nature Medicine1 on 9 November, scientists investigated a virus called SHC014, which is found in horseshoe bats in China. The researchers created a chimeric virus, made up of a surface protein of SHC014, and the backbone of a SARS virus that had been adapted to grow in mice and to mimic human disease. The chimera infected human airway cells — proving that the surface protein of SHC014 has the necessary structure to bind to a key receptor on the cells and to infect them. It also caused disease in mice but did not kill them.
Although almost all coronaviruses isolated from bats have not been able to bind to the key human receptor, SHC014 is not the first that can do so. In 2013, researchers reported this ability for the first time in a different coronavirus isolated from the same bat population2.
21-12-2015 A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows the potential for human emergence.
(…)The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)-CoV underscores the threat of cross-species transmission events leading to outbreaks in humans. Here we examine the disease potential of a SARS-like virus, SHC014-CoV, which is currently circulating in Chinese horseshoe bat populations. Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin-converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.

In November 2017, just before the U.S. officials’ visit, Shi’s team had published research showing that horseshoe bats they had collected from a cave in Yunnan province were very likely from the same bat population that spawned the SARS coronavirus in 2003.
–
In this 30-11-2017 study, Dr. Shi went to Yunan and took blood samples from 218 villagers after testing, she discovered that in nearby caves that the villagers were infected with the bat viruses and that there was a high potential that humans can be infected when they come in contact with bats after she tested the 218 villagers, there were six people infected. And then Dr. Shi went back to study this for a long period of time.
On 18 November 2019, Dr. Shi asked on an online university webpage to ask more students to study the subject.
On the 24th December 2019, she posted that they made a huge discovery in human transmissibility and that they need more help to deal with.
And then it happened to get spooky …

Receiving influenza vaccination may increase the risk of other respiratory viruses, a phenomenon known as virus interference.
Test-negative study designs are often utilized to calculate influenza vaccine effectiveness. The virus interference phenomenon goes against the basic assumption of the test-negative vaccine effectiveness study that vaccination does not change the risk of infection with other respiratory illnesses, thus potentially biasing vaccine effectiveness results in a positive direction.
